Today's Appointment

Right now our appointments are pretty routine. Check blood pressure, weight, and protein levels...then meet with the doctor for chit chat, questions, issues, heartbeat, and measuring the uterus. This takes no more than ten minutes not counting waiting time. It was a little longer today as the doctor had a med student following him around. He was "in charge" for the appointment, with the doctor verifying if need be. By the student's measurements, Snick stopped growing a few weeks ago. Don't worry - the doctor rechecked, and all is well! He had a bit more of an accurate measurement. The med student was ready to go 0-for-2 and try to find the heartbeat, but he had little problem with that! Having him there added a little fun to a routine appointment, not that it's ever really just routine hearing our little girl's heart! But everything is fine, progressing as it should, and we get checked again in three weeks. Then we'll be in the home stretch. Time really has flown!

It's Our Turn Next!

We've now met three of the four new girls that will be attending the Anderson July fourth celebration. First was Nadine (second from left, with big sister CC), then Jessa (far right with big sister Kaylee), now Lilah (middle), so everyone is just waiting on Little Miss D to make her appearance in about two months. On the other side of the family we have little Wayne Kasen, born last month to Jeff's stepsister, Jane. Hopefully we'll get to meet him sometime this summer too. With so many new babies, we're even more excited to meet ours!

Upcoming Appointment

Next week, we have another doctor appointment. It's so fun to hear the heartbeat (takes my mind off all the bladder abuse!) and measure growth. After this appointment, we'll be heading in to the home stretch -- WOW! Day to day, time has seemed slower for the last few months, but the calendar still shows us moving right along. We can't wait...my bladder can't wait...
